Free Shipping Terms
Applicable on purchases of $500 or more, excluding taxes.
On destinations in Canada and the Continental U.S.A. excluding Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico
Shipments under $500 in Canada and the Continental U.S.A are subject to the following shipping charges:
Canada – $50
U.S.A – $80
Packaging
All purchases will be crated in custom built wood crates or packaged in cardboard shipping boxes (depending on the size of art and value) and are protected to ensure safe arrival.

Canada Post
Canada Post Signature upon delivery is required.
Packages arrive Monday to Saturday during business hours.
Shipping Tracking number will be emailed to you to enable you to track the progress of your shipment.
Insurance can be purchased as follows:
Domestic (Canada): The price of additional coverage will increase from $2.20 to $2.25 per $100 declared value.
USA/International: The price of additional coverage will also increase from $2.20 to $2.25 per $100 declared value.
Insurance will be charged to the purchaser.
UPS
Signature upon delivery is required.
Packages arrive Monday to Friday during business hours.
Shipping Tracking number will be emailed to you to enable you to track the progress of your shipment.
Insurance can be purchased for $3.00 per $100 value for artwork valued at up to $2500. This will be charged to the purchaser.
FEDEX Ground
Signature upon delivery is required.
Packages arrive Monday to Friday during business hours.
Shipping Tracking number will be emailed to you to enable you to track the progress of your shipment.
Insurance is not available through FEDEX.
Please note that rates for Canada Post, UPS, and FedEx are subject to change without notice. I strive to keep the most up to date information on the site, but in cases where rates change, the purchaser will be informed prior to the item being shipped out.
Oversized Artwork
For crates or packages exceeding 150 united inches (length + double width + double depth). In these cases artwork will be shipped via a preferred freight forwarder.
Insurance is available for a fee and will be quoted and charged to the purchase if accepted.
Damages
Important
Upon receipt immediately inspect the shipment and note any damages to the crate or package with the shipping carrier prior to opening it.
Upon opening the crate or package notify Art Den Annie Pillaktuaq immediately of any damaged or defective artwork by emailing infoartden@gmail.com.

Within Canada
GST / HST RATES
The HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) which includes the 5% Federal Portion and the Provincial Portions will be charged as follows, when shipped out the province of Ontario to:
New Brunswick – 13%
Newfoundland and Labrador – 13%
Nova Scotia – 15%
Ontario – 13%
Prince Edward Island – 14%
For the following provinces, where the GST (General Sales Tax) and the PST (Provincial Sales Tax) have not be harmonized, the 5% GST portion will only be charged on shipments out of the province of Ontario:
Alberta
British Columbia
Manitoba
North West Territories
Nunavut
Quebec
Saskatchewan
Yukon
All purchases made and shipped within most areas of Canada* will be shipped and delivered free of charge within 5 to 10 business days.
*Please Note: Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut could take up to 15 business days
To The U.S.
All artwork is exempt from the 13% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) when shipped out of Canada.
Original artwork is duty free when shipping into the U.S. For artwork that is
A clearance fee is charged by the carrier to declare the artwork for US Customs: $25.00 for the first thousand ($1000) of value
An additional $10.00 for every thousand ($1000)
All orders received will be packaged and delivered within 10 to 15 business days once it has cleared US Customs.
International Shipping
Art Den Annie Pillaktuaq can offer international shipping to over 100 destinations. For all shipments outside the continental Canada and USA a quotation will be provided once you have made your purchase or submit your inquiry via email to infoartden@gmail.com.
Local Delivery - City of Ottawa
When purchasing online you can choose to pick it up at our main gallery or have it delivered to your door within the City of Ottawa city limits free of charge. Please email us after purchase for this option.
